Nowadoga

Translated directly from the Seneca language, the “far and beautiful view” afforded from this high vantage point made this location strategically critical for the Seneca people. Once part of the Thomas family farm, Nowadoga opened for residential development in 1922 and quickly became known for the stately homes and wide sweeping lawns built before the 1930s. Centered along Sagamore Drive, it is home to one of the area’s most established neighborhood associations, and it is not unusual to be invited to a community parade or picnic.
