Named after the Glen Haven Resort which stood in this area from 1899-1928. The area was once known for its lavish hotel and amusement park. Today residents are more likely to describe this part of town as quiet, tucked away and hidden. Immediately adjacent to Irondequoit Bay many residents enjoy spending time fishing or boating along the undeveloped shoreline.
