Arlington

A unique neighborhood for Irondequoit, parts of this community contain stretches of uninterrupted craftsman bungalows. Popular due to their economy, back to basics sensibilities and comparatively open floor plans this style of housing surged in popularity during the late 1920’s through the mid 30’s. Close to the intersection of Culver and Ridge Roads this area was also known as Swayne’s Corners. Additionally, the once popular Forest House once stood in the area until it burned in 1904.
